At Manasquan Youth Football (Squan AYF), safety is our top priority. Squan AYF adheres to all safety guidelines set forth by NJ AYF, ensuring that our coaches are certified in first aid, CPR, and concussion protocols. In addition, all coaches complete safety courses related to tackling, stunting, and other key aspects of football and cheer to prioritize the well-being of our athletes.
To further enhance player safety, Squan AYF continually invests in high-quality equipment. In 2023, we upgraded our football gear with state-of-the-art Riddell helmets and shoulder pads for all players. Beginning in the Fall 2024 season, we introduced Guardian Caps for practice, and their use will continue into 2025.
Squan AYF remains committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for all players, cheerleaders, coaches, and volunteers by following the guidelines established by Jersey Shore AYF and NJ AYF.
